　　The Tax Filing Analyst is responsible for the timely preparation and remittance of payroll tax returns, coupons, amended tax returns and payments for our client base. The Tax Filing Analyst II will assist with case management, responding promptly to client and partner inquires and concerns, and driving effective resolution and client satisfaction.

　　• Complete daily balancing and reconciliation process of tax liabilities to MasterTax

　　• Prepare client payment coupons and quarterly tax payment packages and ensure timely distribution according to Kronos Payroll Services (UKGPS) standards

　　• Conduct quarterly/annual balancing and reconciliation process of tax liabilities to MasterTax liabilities and payments

　　• File quarterly tax returns and electronic media for assigned states in accordance with agency specific guidelines.

　　• Prepare and communicate quarterly tax variance and refund information to clients

　　• Prepare and file appropriate client tax agency EFT registrations, Federal E-file registrations and reporting agent authorizations

　　• Support and education of clients and Service Team representatives with tax related questions. Answer tax compliance and general questions from clients & internal staff

　　• Ensure compliance and accuracy while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax issues related to Federal, State and Local tax compliance

　　• Respond and follow up with client and tax agency requests and inquiries in a timely, professional manner

　　• Performing audits to help avoid errors and rejections during quarter-end and identify new audits as need

　　• Reconciliation and entry of new client balances against documentation and preparation of correspondence to assist new clients with transition

　　• Research problems and out of balance situations. Interact with UKG staff and other internal departments, as applicable, to answer questions and resolve issues

　　• Manage Salesforce cases in a timely manner, addressing any concerns and maintaining effective communication with clients and partners

　　• Build and improve upon current policies and procedures ensuring SSAE compliance

　　• Maintain proactive relationship with taxing authorities

　　• Working assigned notice cases

　　• Working assigned amendment cases

　　• Training team members

　　• Special projects

　　• Create procedures

　　Qualifications

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　• 1 year of experience working with PC applications and MS Office Suite

　　• 1 year of experience with payroll tax and tax filing packages

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　• American Payroll Institute Certified Payroll professional (CPP) preferred

　　• Previous experience with payroll products/processing, tax calculations, remittance and compliance preferred

　　• 4-year degree in accounting/finance or equivalent work experience in payroll, accounting, or tax preferred
