Required:
Serve as senior systems engineer providing technical support to APEO EandA and multiple Aviation Platform offices
Responsible for establishing standards, policy, processes for all Systems Engineering activities to include risk, configuration management, PLM, requirements management, traceability, design reviews, etc.
Responsible for supporting and leading system-level trade studies and analyses
Supports development of and review of Systems Engineering and program milestone documentation.
Supports major design reviews.
Ensures high HQ policies and guidance are incorporated into PEO AVN.
Works with platforms to assess program/project technical risks and develops mitigation strategies.
10 + years' experience in systems engineering related to the traditional "V" activities. Understanding of MBSE. Model based systems engineering. Incumbent will be expected to assist in the review of Systems Engineering artifacts related to Milestone reviews such as SFR,SRR,PDR,CDR,TRR. Incumbent will create and or review Systems Engineering plans for the enterprise related efforts as well as generate policy for implementation.
Tools:Door, requisite pro, cameo Architect etc. Experience with the Airworthiness process, AQP, AQS, AWR. Platforms include enduring and future fleet.
Architecture physical and logical experience is a plus. HW and SW experience on major weapons systems is a plus
