  Your New Role :

  We are seeking a highly capable and experienced operational leader and executive to join the Media Technology & Operations organization at Warner Bros Discovery. As the SVP Business Operations & Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Technology Division's leadership, overseeing key initiatives, optimizing operational processes, and fostering effective communication across departments. This position demands a strategic thinker, an exceptional problem solver, and a strong leader who can help drive the company's technological growth and success.

  Your Role Accountabilities:

  Strategic Planning and Execution :

  Serve as direct business partner and strategist to EVP, Media Technology & Operations by Continually assessing organizational structure, offering recommendations and developing strategy to better advance the division based on growing business needs.

  Collaborate closely with the Technology Division's leadership team to develop, implement & measure long-term strategies and short-term objectives (OKRs).

  Drive cross-functional alignment, ensuring all teams are working towards the common technological goals and priorities of the company.

  Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to aid in decision-making processes.

  Program Management:

  Manage the Central Program Management office.

  Oversee major projects and initiatives within the Technology Division, ensuring strong cross team communication, reporting and successful implementation.

  Establish project milestones, monitor progress, and identify and address any roadblocks or challenges that may arise.

  Work with project teams to ensure effective resource allocation and proper project documentation.

  Business Operations

  Optimize Business processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity within MT&O's business operations.

  Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline operations.

  Conduct regular reviews and analysis of operational metrics to measure performance and identify areas for optimization.

  Maintain and enhance Xytech/MediaPulse (scheduling & reporting tool) to allow for seamless scheduling and tracking of resources in support of Live Production. This tool will be critical in providing accurate monthly reporting to provide financial clarity and accurately track facility utilization.

  Budget Management:

  Assist in the development and management of the Technology Division's budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources and adherence to financial goals.

  Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and innovation.

  Communication and Collaboration:

  Develop overarching MT&O communication strategy for the org, set regular Tall Hall cadence, etc.

  Facilitate open and transparent communication across all levels of the organization, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

  Strategically align communication efforts amongst MT&O leadership team to ensure messages are clear, concise and timely.

  Serve as a liaison between the Technology Division and other departments within WBD, fostering effective communication channels.

  Prepare and present reports, updates, and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.

  Culture, Engagement and Talent Development:

  Lead Culture & Engagement efforts, responsible for sustaining and evolving MT&O’s culture to maintain a positive, inclusive environment that attracts and retains top-tier talent. Develop a pipeline of junior-level talent to create the next

  Develop and implement programs to nurture and advance the skills and career growth of team members.

  Implement consistent recruitment and onboarding efforts via the pre-established Equitable Talent Lifecycle

  Oversee the creation of cultural events that promote learning, development and relationship building amongst MT&O staff.

  Qualifications & Experiences:

  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) is required. A Master's degree is preferred.

  Proven experience in a leadership role within the Media or technology sector.

  Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex, high-impact projects.

  Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  A passion for technology and Production and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
