As a global leader in advanced mobility solutions, our outstanding team of legal professionals helps us navigate the continually changing legal and regulatory landscape. In our Office of General Counsel, you’ll be part of an organization that collaborates with outside counsel to operate as a global team and deliver world-class legal, tax and audit services to client groups throughout the company.
Serve as the subject matter expert for Ford Motor Company's executive flight operations.
What you'll do…
Maintain aircraft operations budget and ensure financial data is accurately captured and reported
Administer and develop flight operations policy and procedures; make recommendations and updates when appropriate
Represent the Company to all aviation industry related suppliers and manage and maintain all aircraft lease agreements and insurance contracts
Ensure all aircraft charter and supplier aircraft requirements meet Company standards
Provide approval authority for FAA Part 91 operation of aircraft and provide oversight and management of FAA Part 135 charter operations
Provide oversight of the scheduling, operations and maintenance of Company aviation assets
Lead development of long-term strategy for Company aviation assets
Oversee and implement safety and security policies for all Company travelers and aircraft operation; ensure compliance with established best practices and standards
Manage insurance and risk assessments in conjunction with Risk Management/Corporate Insurance for all aviation related assets
Safeguard all aviation assets and their overall condition
Ensure all required aircraft documentation is up to date and available for use
Provide controlling oversight in regards to all aircraft parts inventory
Maintain absolute confidentiality and privacy in accordance with guidelines and policies
Additional Responsibilities
In addition to aviation responsibilities, this role will support Global Security business operations activities and special projects from the Director of Global Security.
The role will act in a program manager capacity to coordinate security initiatives in support of the global security key deliverables; this includes developing agendas, facilitating meetings and creating presentations to keep initiatives moving forward and on track
This role will also support personal protection assignments in accordance with defined policies and procedures
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate
Ability to travel, both domestic and international with limited notice
Maintain all applicable license and certifications as required; including firearms and first aid
You'll have…
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience managing executive aircraft operations or military equivalent
Strong aeronautical background with a working knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration regulations
Strong negotiating skills and ability to work collaboratively with client, suppliers and others to resolve issues
Process driven with strong organizational skills with good business and financial acumen
Excellent problem-solving skills, soft skills and time management; possesses a strategic mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with senior level management with discretion
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products
Ability to travel up to 50%
