Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Strategic Communications Lead candidates to support our federal client’s mission in an intelligence domain. The successful candidate will provide strategic communications support related to the stakeholder’s mission within the agency. What you will do Work with government clients to develop strategic communications plans that engage and inform the workforce and key stakeholders Promote the identification and use of third-party voices to support client communications and mission goals Draft talking points, memos, announcements, newsletters, and annual reports Assimilate inputs from key stakeholders and translate complex ideas and issues into clear and compelling messages Understand the key stakeholders with whom we work and their potential to engage with others within the agency or other government organizations Prepare executive level-briefing materials (e.g., memos, papers, presentations etc.) for the agency to brief other senior leadership Host quarterly Town Halls to facilitate open and transparent communication channels between senior leadership and employees Host government client offsites to bring together leaders and key decisionmakers in a different setting, outside of the regular work environment, to discuss and plan strategic initiatives, align on goals, strengthen team dynamics, and drive organizational growth Design and conduct surveys to gather valuable information from leadership and/or the workforce Use a graphics tool to create templates illustrations for branding and marketing purpose What you need to have Bachelor's Degree and 8 to 10 years of experience; Master's Degree and 6 to 8 years of experience; PhD and 3 to 5 years of experience (in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 6 additional years of relevant experience) Clearance: Must maintain a TS/SCI clearance Possess a working knowledge of, and experience in strategic communications Proven success in developing and executing communications strategies and plans for government clients with many stakeholders Exceptional writing, editing and project management skills Ability to interact and communicate across a variety of stakeholder groups (from technical subject matter experts to senior executives), with ability to present complex information in an understandable format and tailored to specific audiences Capable of working well under pressure and managing multiple high-profile assignments in an intense, fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills, including ability to interact with and brief senior leaders Ability to think and communicate clearly - formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create a concise and well-written narrative to express it High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex priorities effectively and efficiently Ability to make connections in highly matrixed environment, with eye on collaboration and integration, across all levels of the organization Strong listening and persuasive communication skills; able to gain consensus through influence and pivot when warranted Ability to work in a virtual environment Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel What we'd like you to have Possess a working knowledge of, and experience in national security, the Intelligence Community, information technology, and intelligence & analysis Possess experience with the Canva graphics tool Possess experience with MS Teams Live About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai delivers AI-powered analytics and cyber engineering solutions to support mission-critical operations and decision-making in complex, real-world environments.
