Join the herd and unlock your opportunity.Why you'll love this role:In this critical security leadership role, you will use a unique blend of technical and sales acumen in connection with various customer-facing activities, including clearly and accurately communicating Cribl's security program to Cribl prospects and customers across industries and continents.As an active member of our team, you will:* Host and lead complex customer security reviews from Cribl customers and prospects across the globe, including timely completion of security questionnaires.* Partner with the Legal team to negotiate security and compliance language for Cribl service agreements.* Provide direction and support to the Sales team in connection with customer security questionnaires and information-security calls.* Publish and maintain customer-facing security and compliance documents and white papers and maintain the Cribl Trust portal.* Provide inputs to the product management and product-security teams with customer-generated requests.* Provide security and compliance education and training to various internal organizations (Sales, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, etc.)* Create customer-facing materials evangelizing internal use of the Cribl platform in support of our information security program.* Effectively communicate the Information Security team's strategy through compelling presentations and written documents to Legal, Sales, Marketing, and customer executives.If you've got it - we want it:* BS/MS degree in computer science or any related subject area in technology.* 10+ years of experience within a global software/SaaS enterprise environment with a focus on security and compliance.* 6-8 years of customer-facing presentations to 'C' level executives as well as technical experts.* Extensive knowledge of current risks, security frameworks, and trends.* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.* Demonstrated ability to navigate material conversations with internal executives and customer CISOs/CIOs is essential.* Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels and functions.* Willingness and ability to travel to domestic and international locations.* Knowledge of various compliance frameworks and security certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.* Certifications such as CISSP, or equivalent, are highly desirable.Salary Range ($149,000 - $213,000)The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
