Your Role: What you'll be doingUnited Launch Alliance (ULA) seeks a skilled Sr. Supply Chain SubcontractManagement Specialist to support the Complex Equipment Supply Chain team atULA Corporate Headquarters in Centennial, CO.The Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist leads teams overseeingmajor subcontractors or major, critical subcontracted systems, or mayintegrate the efforts of a number of subcontractors at a project or programlevThe Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist directs and manages allcost, schedule and technical performance requirements levied on thesubcontractor or the product family, ensuring performance in compliance withall technical requirements and contract milestones.The Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist assists in developmentof subcontract specifications, work statements and other technicalrequirements documents.The Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management serves as a focal point for thesubcontractor.As required, the Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist:briefs ULA executive management and customer regarding subcontract status andissues affecting subcontract performance or cost; and, conducts and/orsupports program reviews with the subcontractor and ULA / Customer programoffiThe Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist is responsible for anddirects all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case formake / buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontractmanagement plans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability; makesdecisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor; establishesmilestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules andcontractual specifications; and, assists in development of major /complex subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms andconditions for the procurement of specialized components and services.The primary role of a ULA Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialistwithin the Complex Equipment Supply Chain team is to facilitate purchasingactivities for acquisition of flight hardware required by the enterprise witha focus on integrated Supply Chain strategy and strategic sourcing analysis.Successful execution of the Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialistresponsibilities as a member of the high-performing Complex Equipment SupplyChain team requires working collaboratively within the team to develop andclearly communicate flight hardware requirements and execution expectations tosuppliers, optimizing value for ULA.
Your Background: What education and experience you'll needRequires a bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of experience.

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required. Adegree in Business or Supply Chain or related technical field is preferred.Microsoft Ex el experience with an understanding of advanced functions andpivot tables.Background in Supply Chain processes such as planning, purchasing,inventory and/or warehouse operations.Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Business Experience withpurchasing policies and procedures.Demonstrated proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (SAPpreferred).Experience following standard business procedures, and general businessknowledge/acumen.Demonstrated capability in developing and applying basic professionalanalytical techniques to develop solutions for problems.
