Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Software Systems Engineering Teams provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software operating/automation systems, including, but not limited to, utility, development, and diagnostic software. They perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost, risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
The Software Systems Engineer will be responsible for the development of embedded software. Primarily for ARM-based STM32 microprocessors. They will also be responsible for implementing hardware drivers, interfaces, abstractions, state machines, advanced signal processing algorithms, application modules and unit tests for devices supervising medium voltage distribution grids. They will have continuous active involvement in architectural design decisions and evaluations.
A background in electronics and/or electrical energy distribution would be an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
5+ years experience in Software Engineering. Master in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical engineeringAdvanced skills in C and C++ Advanced skills in embedded software engineeringA background in electronics and/or electrical energy distribution would be an advantage. Proven interest in power grids would be an advantage.Fluent level of English written and spoken, advanced level of German written and spoken.
