Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to be a part of the HON PSS IT team, with a focus on delivering projects vital to enabling the business strategic objectives. As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for working with functional and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze processes and requirements, and mapping these to the solution blueprint, technical design document, ensuring adherence to the defined Global Design Model (GDM). You will be the liaison between the business and IT to support current processes and define requirements for the deployment of new standard solutions .
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with the development of business IT strategy including the high-level objectives and critical success factors of supporting projects
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, document and prioritize business requirements
· Create detailed requirements documents, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle
· Work with IT teams to design and support new solutions that meet business needs and align with HON standard Global Design models
· Recognize and escalate critical issues to senior IT and business stakeholders to ensure projects hit key milestone deliverables
· Coordinate change management activities including training and communication with appropriate business stakeholders
· Identify Process Improvement opportunities through conversations with key business and IT stakeholders
· Conduct Voice of the Customer surveys to help ensure successful user adoption and capture lesson learned opportunities
You Must Have
· Bachelor’s degree in IT with minimum 5 years of progressive IT, relevant IT/ business experience
· Proven ability to effectively partner with business customers, suppliers and IT at both business partner and technical levels
· Involvement working cross functionally on large programs with complex integration points using various business models and data alignment efforts
· Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies, documenting user stories
· Knowledge of ERP, EAM, SFDC, ServiceMax or other core application functionality and data flow
