  Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer of Land Development in our Greenwood Village, CO (Denver DTC) office. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Team. Qualified candidates will be responsible for providing our private owners and municipal clients with cost effective, user friendly, and attractive developments as well as developing new client relationships.

  Job Activities:

  Plan, design and manage a variety of private owner driven civil engineering projects

  Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines

  Communicate with clients regarding current and future projects

  Organize and complete projects from inception to completion

  Prepare project proposals

  Assist with business development efforts

  May attend city staff and council/ board meetings

  Specific Requirements include:

  BS in Civil Engineering

  12+ years of civil engineering experience

  Professional Engineer (PE) License

  Experience working with private owner projects and clients

  Ability to effectively manage clients and participate in business development activities

  Strong team player that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously

  AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience required

  Strong communication skills

  Contract and negotiating skills

  Salary Range: $110k - $130k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
