In this full time Receiver role, you will be part of ourwarehouse associate team,responsible for receipt of all inbound goodsand supplies arriving at the Distribution Center. Safely performs allstock movement and put away functions while ensuring accuracy of packinglists and purchase order receipts. Provides back up in the absence ofthe Receiving/Packaging Coordinator. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Receiveinbound materials from vendors and customer return stock using radiofrequency scanners and keyboard data entry. Perform purchase orderreceipt and stock movement functions involved in bringing stock intoinventory, producing the unit packaging tickets and lot registration.Unload and stage material within the receiving area using poweredindustrial equipment, put product away in in rack locations and notedamaged product information delivery carrier\'s paperwork prior tounloading goods. Enter purchase order and supplied packing listinformation into system. Set-up packaging stations from receivingstaging or from receipt goods storage locations. Collaborate withReceiving Crew Leader or Coordinator on receipts, carrier or suppliervariances. Assist with inventory cycle counting using powered industrialequipment. Assist with inventory discrepancy investigations relating toreceipt variances. Notify Purchasing and Quality Assurance personnelabout quality and damaged goods variations. Observe all safetyregulations and promote safe working habits. Maintain good housekeepingand works to achieve the housekeeping goals set forth by WarehouseSupervision. REQUIREMENTS: General knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations. One year of general warehouse/distributionknowledge. Must be Powered Industrial Equipment Certified or becomecertified within 30 days after accepting the position. Average mathskills and effective reading & writing skills. Problem solving abilityand attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to spend the majority ofthe time standing and walking in a warehouse environment. Must be ableto lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
