　　Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Software Developer to join our team in St. Inigoes, MD .

　　Responsibilities:

　　Successful candidates will conduct innovative software development solutions for the AN/UPX-29(V) Interrogator System and UPneXt, along with other various IFF systems for our customer. Projects will entail execution of scientific, engineering and technical services required for the design, development, integration, test, and maintenance of the 29 system and its upgrade, along with other various IFF systems and interfaces. This position offers the opportunity to work on an integrated development team software design and development including all phases of the software development life-cycle.

　　Analyze technology/capability gaps, research, develop, and deploy software solutions

　　Work with project leads to define and develop associated deliverables

　　Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code

　　Conduct integration, test, bug fixes, and other software maintenance activities

　　Assist in the creation of technical documentation and user guides in support of developed software

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　0-3 years of experience in software development

　　Applied experience programming in a Linux environment

　　Applied experience with C/C++, and Java

　　Desired Qualifications:

　　Highly desired: Active or inactive US DoD security clearance.

　　Candidates should be self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills

　　Experience using Wireshark

　　Experience using Eclipse IDE for Development

　　Experience using SVN for source code configuration management

　　Education Requirements:

　　Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related fieldPhysical Requirements:

　　Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

　　Must be able to communicate converse and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.

　　Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, computer printer and copy machine.

　　Security Clearance Requirements:

　　Must be able to receive/attain a secret clearance.

　　U.S. Citizenship required.
