  Job Description

  The Global Learning and Development team is adding to their Wealth Management Practice team. As a Wealth Management Senior Practice Consultant you will be assigned learning and development projects. In this role, you’ll primarily support Private Wealth Management and Affluent departments. This role gathers information, creates, and delivers learning and development initiatives. The role will include consulting, implementing, and adapting programs of practice management including sales skills and platform processes from initial concept through post implementation, including multiple implementation cycles and across multiple Wealth Management business lines. This role is unique in its requirement of holding or attaining FINRA licensure – 66 (or 65 and 63), 7, 24 and Licensure and expectation to work broadly across learning and development disciplines – including in person and virtual facilitation, design, and project management.

  The target audience for the practice management programs developed may include business leaders, field sales representatives, home office support teams, associates and/or others reporting up through the Wealth Management Group. Programs developed are delivered using various methods including, instructor-led, self-study, virtual-live, recorded replay, and web-based training. This role offers professional development, coaching, knowledge management and practice management skills to professionals in the business line to help them achieve their goals.

  Wealth Management Senior Practice Consultants function independently, working with leaders and subject matter experts for their assigned areas of responsibility. They are responsible for leading and directing matrixes project teams that may include business leaders, technical experts and/or external resources. This includes planning and monitoring the work progress and activities of other team members.

  Location: Role is hybrid in posted locations. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

  Basic Qualifications

  Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  10 or more years of experience in practice/project management

  FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65), 24 and Insurance licenses

  Partially licensed candidates will be considered. Under-licensed candidates will have 3 months to complete 1 license, 6 months if 2 are needed or 18 months for 4 licenses.

  Preferred Skills/Experience

  Wealth Management business line expertise

  Thorough knowledge of the design, delivery, administration and evaluation of training and development programs

  Proven project management experience and practice management consulting skills

  Strong coaching and analytical skills

  Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of programs in light of business objectives

  Ability to build credibility and work directly with business line leaders and sales management/sales staff

  Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
