Role
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Social and Content Executive at Ordo located in Altrincham, with flexibility for some remote work. The Social and Content Executive will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to create brand awareness, as well as for driving revenue growth through innovative campaigns. Additionally, the Social and Content Executive will collaborate with the agency to ensure alignment on campaigns and initiatives, analyse market trends and consumer behavior to generate effective content, and provide input on product development and launches.
To be successful, candidates should have proven commercial experience, gained in a fast-paced e-commerce or retail/lifestyle environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fastest growing oral care brand in the UK, founder led business with huge room for upskilling and career growth.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, preferably in the consumer goods industry
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and outside the box, and to develop innovative solutions to marketing challenges
• Experience with digital marketing strategies and tools, including social media, email marketing, and web analytics
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions in marketing and product development
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Passionate about oral care and improving global health and wellness
• Experience with sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives is a plus
Responsibilities:
Social & Content
• Organic social community management: ensuring all comments and DM's are responded to timely
• Carving out a monthly social strategy to include a theme, to plan and execute weekly social content
• Creating social content, shooting video, stills, etc
• Work alongside paid social agency to provide marketing and design assets
• Help manage weekly email calendar and gathering all assets needed to complete
• Prepare weekly and monthly social reporting; what worked, what didn't, what could we do better?
• Help organise content shoots with our design agency and external parties
• Research and agree brand partners to drive brand awareness and social growth
• Build a TikTok strategy and focus on its growth as a key KPI
PR & Influencer
• Responsible for tracking, saving and monitoring all coverage (print, digital and influencer) and saving down clippings and testimonials
• Ownership of updating media and Influencer database
• Constantly research competitor activity and report insights
• Place marketing FOC orders, following sign-off procedure
• Seek out and facilitate any brand partnerships both digital and offline
General:
• Prepare for any weekly/monthly marketing meetings and ensure all required documents are updated and presented
• Assist with any marketing content as requested
• Assist with any general marketing or office tasks as requested
• Complete any marketing or brand presentations needed
• Consistent competitor analysis activity and report insights
• Liaise with marketing agency on a daily basis
• Assist with brand events
The Ideal Candidate
• 2+ years as a Marketing Assistant within the Lifestyle, Healthcare or Beauty industry.
• Must have strong experience in using Canva
• Social centric; understands the metrics of what drives social engagement, can analyse data with social tracking tools and GA with ease
• Consumer & brand-centric mindset; service driven, and people obsessed to support the business goals and your team
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a flair for building relationship with a variety of different people
• Strong attention to detail in reporting and strong commercial acumen for commercial contracts and partnership deals
• Photoshop/MailChimp/Klayvio experience preferred
• Shopify experience preferred
