About the Opportunity
The Jacobs Defence Industry Solutions team have some exciting opportunities in our defence infrastructure portfolio that require Assistant Project Management support.
This is a hybrid-working role primarily based in Glasgow, however this will be supporting projects and opportunities in sites across the UK.
We are seeking pro-active collaborators with a passion for Project Management.

In accordance with the level of supervision/responsibility assigned by role/grade your key responsibilities will include:
Provide support to Project Managers in daily running of tasks
Provide support to the ongoing resource management of the teams
support in authoring formal proposals
Support the assurance of compliance against contractual requirements
Present documentation and findings to senior members of the team
Support co-ordination of work done by project teams
Support the Project Manager in making sure the project is running on time and to budget
Support with dealing with changes to the project, eg. Scope

Here’s what you’ll need :
Degree qualified in a relevant subject or able to demonstrate suitability with equivalent experience.
You should ideally have a technical / engineering / construction or infrastructure background
Experience of working on projects at different life cycle stages
Experience in project financial / budget management
Strong communication skills
Experience working in diverse teams.
All staff are required to be sole UK Nationals and able and willing to obtain SC level security clearance, and therefore must have been resident in the UK for the preceding 5 years.
