About Service Advisor

  We are seeking an exceptional Automotive Service Writer who is customer-focused, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a keen attention to detail to join our team at Brad Deery Motors. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our service department, serving as a bridge between our customers and our technical team. Your ability to effectively communicate service needs, provide clear explanations, and follow up diligently will contribute to the overall success of our service operations.

  Responsibilities:

  Customer Interaction:Greet customers warmly and courteously upon arrival.Listen attentively to customer concerns, inquiries, and service needs.Provide a welcoming environment and address any customer questions regarding services.Service Consultation:Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify service requirements.Clearly and professionally explain to customers the recommended service and repairs, detailing the benefits and necessity of each.Address customer concerns and inquiries regarding service recommendations.Work to gain customer trust and approval for additional service work when required.Inspect vehicles after repairs are completed and ensure that they meet customer expectations.Follow-Up and Communication:Follow up promptly with customers to provide updates on their vehicle's service status, including any unexpected delays or changes in the repair process.Communicate any changes in repair or service estimates to customers with transparency.Ensure effective communication channels are maintained with the technical team to facilitate timely completion of service work.CRM System Management:Check and complete tasks in the CRM system daily, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, service recommendations, and approvals.Update customer profiles with relevant information to enhance the overall customer experience.All customer interaction besides face-to-face communication is completed through the CRM system. Calls, Text, Emails.Task Completion and Follow-Through:Manage and prioritize tasks related to service appointments, inquiries, and customer follow-ups.Ensure all customer-related tasks are completed promptly and accurately.Collaborate with the service team to ensure a seamless workflow and timely completion of service projects.Coordinate loaner vehicles or alternate transportation for customers when necessary.Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required components.Approval of Additional Service Work:Effectively present additional service recommendations to customers with clarity and professionalism.Address customer questions and concerns regarding the necessity, urgency, and benefits of additional service work.Negotiate and gain customer approval for additional service work as needed.Qualifications:

  High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or related field is a plus.Proven experience in customer service or automotive service writing.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Proficiency in using CRM systems for task and record management.Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.Technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is advantageous.Ability to explain technical concepts to customers in an understandable manner.Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.Compensation:This position offers a competitive commission-based salary structure, providing you the opportunity to directly influence your earnings based on your performance and sales achievements.
