JOB SITE Summersville, WV (Nicholas County) JOB SYNOPSIS Determine eligibility for the child care subsidy program at office and at outreach sites. Provide consultation to parents on selecting quality child care. Provide Case Management for parents/guardians. Provide orientation and enroll new child care providers into the program. Assist child care providers with the billing process. Provide referrals and resources to parents and providers, provide outreach and provide current and relevant resources at community events. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, Interpersonal Communications, Elementary or Special Education or Behavioral Science. Valid drivers license. APS/CPS check and a clear criminal background check with no charges related to child abuse and neglect, domestic violence or drug charges. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Experience in Case Management. Experience in working with low-income families. Ability to communicate effectively with parents and child care providers.
