Job Description
About your contributions:
Lead discussions about project architecture and technical feasibility, make decisions, and justify your development approach.
Work in a full-stack web development environment consisting of HTML, Javascript, CSS, and Java
Spearhead ad-tech integrations with our server-rendered sites, including using libraries like prebid.js to improve existing header-bidding functionality, or leveraging IAB standards guidance to enable new revenue partnerships.
Integrate with external consent and data management platforms such as OneTrust and Lotame.
Experiment with upcoming ad technologies, such as server-side bidding; use metrics and data analytics to make informed recommendations to the business.
Develop a long term ad technology library that is scalable and reusable.
Vet new partners and technologies via performance testing and page speed results.
About you:
5+ years of experience with Javascript, preferably vanilla Javascript (ES5+) and NodeJS. Java experience is also an asset.
3+ years of experience in the programmatic advertising ecosystem; with IAB Standards such as OpenRTB, OpenDirect, and VAST; and with industry concepts like header bidding and consent management platforms.
A strong history of developer mentorship and guidance.
Comfortable using the tools of modern collaborative Agile+Scrum SDLC, including Git, Jira, planning poker, etc
Enjoy working and integrating with multiple third party providers in the ad technology space.
Demonstrated ability in creating and working with APIs, and integrating solutions from third party vendors.
An eye for performance, and page speed in the web space.

Pay Range
Salary: $105,000 - $150,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
