About Senior Product Manager - Tech, Seller Pricing & Shared Services

  Description

Come help us build new Customer experiences and UX patterns to communicate when products are priced well, or poorly. Our mission is to help educate and inform customers about the quality of prices they encounter on Amazon to ensure we remain a trusted place to shop.

The Amazon Pricing team is looking for a seasoned product manager to help us drive improvement to pricing related customer experiences worldwide.

As the Senior Product Manager over this space, you’ll partner with our team of engineers, user experience designers, research scientists, data scientists, and business intelligence engineers to innovate on Amazon's shopping experiences across the store. You'll design, launch, and measure experiments that help improve customer comprehension of price and drive discovery of the best priced selection in our store. You'll build new Customer facing features and iterate on existing ones to help Amazon shoppers understand if the item they are considering has a great price, or not.

You will define and drive the multi-year vision for how we can improve Amazon's shopping experience through price based information and features throughout the store.

Successful candidates will have a keen ability to distill insights from customer research, and form an experimentation plan to address pain points uncovered through anecdote and in-depth data analysis. They will be able to translate these insights into testable experiments to address unmet needs, or improve a particular shopping outcome. You'll thrive in an environment with lots of opportunity to invent new approaches, while moving fast and learning from prior experiments.

You will be able to separate out idealistic from practical and balance both to continue to move forward. You will excel at looking around corners, and anticipating where to build and when to test to fail fast. You must have the experience and capability to prepare documentation for senior executives. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the businesses we support.

You will thrive in a collaborative, creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with senior leaders, technical software development teams, design teams, research teams, and business intelligence teams.
