  The Senior Manager, Multicultural Marketing will be responsible for helping to determine how and where our brand authentically shows up to connect with Multicultural audiences and will join a passionate and tenured group of brand strategists and marketers on the Global Advertising & Brand Management (GABM) team responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce through breakthrough marketing, differentiated partnerships, and innovative enterprise-wide brand platforms. This position will report to the Director of Cultural Platforms and act as a Center of Excellence for the brand, helping to build dedicated brand programs (e.g., Content, Media, Experiential) to engage with Multicultural audiences in partnership with relevant GABM and enterprise stakeholders.

  Responsibilities:

  Support the ongoing refinement and evolution of the Cultural Platforms team’s strategy, partnering across the Enterprise and with key partners in GABM and externally, to drive brand consideration and demand for Amex with Multicultural audiences

  Be the voice of the Multicultural prospect and Card Member across all strategic campaigns

  Ensure campaign adherence to Amex policies and processes regarding brand review, legal approval, and compliance requirements

  Help develop a content strategy to drive engagement with Multicultural audiences and the associated media plan to scale and expand reach

  Manage third-party vendor and external agency partner administrative tasks to include finance billing, performance reporting, and compliance auditing

  Own the budget and monthly forecast process, ensuring full utilization and on-time project execution

  Qualifications:

  7 years of marketing and/or brand strategy experience, including experiential marketing

  Experience developing strategic campaigns for scaled activations and brand experiences at consumer-facing tentpole moments, industry events, and conferences/trade shows

  Strong project management skills with the ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables

  Executive presence and presentation skills are important, and the successful candidate must be an effective communicator at all levels of organizations

  Strong record of driving results and innovation with an eye for creative excellence

  Confident, strong communicator and storyteller that questions the status quo, with ability to socialize ideas and influence others to think differently

  Experience building relationships across large cross-functional teams and managing external agency partners

  Demonstrated curiosity for industry and category trends along with a deep interest in culture and a pulse on worldwide events and trends

  High energy, self-starter, team-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit with flexibility to thrive in a fluid work environment

  Agency experience a plus

  MBA preferred

  Qualifications

  Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits

  The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
