Joining Symantec, a division of Broadcom, you will be part of a newly formed cyber security sales team focussed on introducing Symantec's market leading portfolio to Broadcom's wider Strategic Customer base. We're looking for experienced Account Directors with cybersecurity domain expertise who want to make a formative impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
In addition to prospecting and driving new sales, you will develop trusted relationships at the executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the partnership. This means that you have a deep understanding of our product suites and are able to help identify new opportunities.
Responsibilities
Apply your knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, market and competitive landscape, technology, product, and processes to educate prospective and current customers on the business value of Symantec's security offering.
Aggressively prospect daily into a high value target named account list to uncover new opportunities and drive them from discovery to closure.
Scope, negotiate, and close enterprise contracts to exceed all bookings and revenue targets.
Establish access and create positive business relationships with key executives and senior-level decision makers including the CISO, Head of Network Security, CIO, CTO, etc.
Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders (Core Sales Team, Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, Product Management & Marketing) to drive product adoption in target accounts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and territory plans.
Regular forecasting of business opportunities to Sales and executive leadership.
Responsible for staying well-informed about product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features, and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with Product Management on an ongoing basis to stay updated.
Coordinate requirements for proofs of concept (PoCs) with Sales Engineers and Product Management.
Qualifications
12+ years of sales experience with at least 5 years selling enterprise security solutions in the following areas is preferred: Cloud Security, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Zero Trust (ZTNA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint Security (EDR), Advanced Threat solutions, Cloud Access Security (CASB), UEBA, Insider Threat.
Demonstrated success penetrating Large Enterprise Accounts ( especially fortune 1000 customers and customers in highly regulated industries) building pipeline and drive $100k+ opportunities to closure
You can effectively articulate and present well in front of technical and executive-level stakeholders.
You have a demonstrated passion for selling cybersecurity and know how to win.
Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $168,000 - $280,000.
OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents. This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
