We are hiring a Scrum Master I/II who will help modernize our application and work with teams that operate critical systems essential for the power grid. You will continuously assess the agile maturity of the team and the organization, to coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable for the team and MISO.
As a MISO Scrum Master I/II , you will:
Be fully engaged with your team giving advice and coaching
Facilitate the decomposition of work into small, vertical slices of value using techniques such as user story mapping
Develop a shared online space providing resources for news, guidance, resources, calendars, roadmaps, and collaboration; contribute to the greater agile community
Lead the Scrum Team in utilizing standard ceremonies such as: daily standups, iteration planning, iteration review, and retrospectives to regularly inspect and adapt the product and process
Facilitate the removal of impediments
Use data including dashboards to generate insights and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with Product Owners to build plans for delivering value and achieving goals/objectives
As a Scrum Master I/II , we’re looking for the following:
Previous experience on an agile team
Examples of proven ability and knowledge in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Proficient with agile tools like Jira and Aha!
Pertinent professional certifications such as Scaled Agile, Scrum Alliance, etc., is a plus
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
