  How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

  Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for a Salesforce Architect in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities include:

  Serves as the subject matter expert on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform, providing design, automation, and data support for SFMC in support of Delta enterprise implementation. Partners with the internal data team, as well as agency partners, to design and develop data extensions, suppression lists, automations, journeys, imports, and extracts. Ensures that Salesforce's best practices are followed for leveraging the system while maintaining secure and stable environments. Helps Delta continuously improve by identifying, creating, and enhancing internal systems and processes based on recurring Marketing requests, business goals, or evolving industry standards. Ensures that team is building and maintaining data privacy processes and safeguards to ensure that Marketing requirements remain CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliant. Responsible for ensuring that the Marketing data team and other IT employees understand how the data is structured as well as how to best leverage it. Partners with other teams to understand business needs and ensure that email data is properly represented in dashboards and other reporting frameworks. Recommends and prepares documentation on best practices, business procedures, reporting, configuration, and master data maintenance that can be handled by super users.

  Telecommuting permitted 1-2 days per week.

  What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field, and five years of marketing automation experience, or related. In the alternative, will accept a Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field, and three years of marketing automation experience, or related.Experience with architecture, development, and administration within Salesforce Marketing Cloud design and implementation;Experience guiding practices for contact studio and overall data flow using the integration capabilities of the platform including API, MC Connect, and files;Experience with HTML, JavaScript, WSProxy, and development of programmatic languages native to marketing cloud, SQL, and AMPScript;Experience designing complex data models and configuring, supporting, and developing business intelligence applications including Tableau, Datorama, or Informatica;Experience gathering business, marketing, analytical and technical requirements to craft comprehensive and scalable solutions to drive business outcomes and improve customer communications; andExperience with database management, segmentation, and ETL including understanding of relational database concepts and SQL Server and Teradata.Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
