What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Regional Vice President who can do more with Mohawk.The ideal candidate will for overseeing the overall sales in the business unitand all related activities required to ensure sales and service goals andobjectives for products are attained in our Plains North territory(Colorado, Nebraska, Western Iowa).
This position will develop and implement business plans for delivery,training and integration of products and services while maintaining expertiseand staying informed of development trends in the industry to monitor theorganization's competitive market position.
What you'll do:
Direct the selling of commercial products and ensure that the sales teamprovides a high level of service and attain sales, service and profitabilityobjectivesEnsure that the commercial sales business plan is aligned with corporatestrategies and objectives.Ensure that products, pricing, representation and service are maintainedat superior levels.Work effectively with product development, manufacturing and marketing toevaluate the effectiveness of current products, services, policies andmarketing campaigns and assist with corrective action as needed.Represent the commercial business unit to industry associations to strengthenits position in the marketplace and develop strategic selling programs andaccount management practices necessary to successfully exploit these businessopportunities.Provide mentoring and leadership through critical and independent thinkingskills and behavior.
What you have:
Four-year college degree in business, marketing or related field7-10 or more years of related work experience and any combination of educationand training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities toperform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstratedprofessional growth and achievement.
What you're good at:
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact and negotiate withinternal and external customers and business contacts at all organizationallevelsAbility to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's diversebusiness and product lines, as well as gather, assemble, correlate,and analyze statistical and financial dataCapacity to use appropriate conflict resolution methods in situations tomaintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standardsThorough knowledge of Mohawk products, distribution options, salesstrategies and programs.Ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal andexternal groups
What else?
Expect to travel for trade shows, customer visitation, etc.
Pay Rate:
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $170K and $189K* peryear at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will bedetermined on an individualized basis and is only part of the compensationpackage, which depending on the position, may also include commissionearnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short andlong-term incentive packages, and other company sponsored benefit programs.
