Draft land management, legal, and other documents validating legal descriptions and formatting accuracy for the Realty Specialists to review and approve. Provide courthouse real estate research, including ownership, land rights, property descriptions, zoning, land use planning, etc. Provide support by creating name and address lists used for landowner notifications, PEP forms, etc. Perform field work supporting RS in conducting acquisition activities, delivering documents for signature by landowner, crop damage inspections, documenting the certificates of inspection and possession, and collecting field data as needed. Verify that necessary exceptions are included with the title report provided by the Real Property Operations team for project-related activities. Request Title Certificates if missing from Preliminary Title Reports (PTR). Enter data in LIS and Real Property Management System (RPM). Prepare and deliver Notice of Rights Released (NORR) and Notice of Rights Secured (NORS) documents and review them for accuracy and completeness; correct or research and obtain any missing data, such as Landowner name, address, and phone, tracts listed in correct order, accurate rights-of-way widths, applicable TER ID, Project, date. and complete the team list, etc.; prepare for closing. Complete Land Rights Reviews (LRR) using information provided in LIS and Application Extender. Prepare acquisition packages and review them for clerical and formatting errors and confirm all necessary acquisition documents are supplied. Work with applicants to provide adequate information on land use applications to include site visits, property owner meetings, and other field research as required. Using the Case Closing Checklist, close Land Management case files and prepare the file for closing transmittal, including purging the file when the case is complete, inputting, updating, and verifying information is in LIS, and preparing closing sheet. Draft and edit a variety of related materials, including documents, letters, and memorandums using Word or other Microsoft products. Perform copying, mail delivery, faxing, report collations, and document assembly.Requirements:High School Diploma is required. Associate degree is preferred. 5 years of property management, real estate, title review, or related work experience is required.
