　　BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

　　Quality Engineer: Boilers, Steam Turbines, ACC, BOP, Auxiliaries and Accessories in Cement, Oil and Gas, Fertilizer, Chemical and Process Industries

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site is as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.

　　Responsible for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.

　　Control, and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System.

　　Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction

　　Making and following PQR (Procedure Qualification Record), WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and ITP (Inspection Test Plan).

　　Perform all inspections and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract.

　　Different types of NDT work like RT, UT, MPT, LPT for weld joints and result examination and giving approval as per Codes generally IBR/ASME codes.

　　Review of Hydro Test Package according to project specification, compliance with contract specification and ensure the implementation of the project approved construction procedure and standards.

　　Review hydro test Packages and verify things like NDT completion, weld map summary, radiography reports, check list, valve list, P&ID showing test limits, Isometric drawing, support details drawing, review the history sheet.

　　Parent material Identification (PMI), Hardness Test, Thickness survey for tubes, pipes, and plates.

　　Preparation of fortnightly/monthly MIS.

　　EXPERIENCE

　　Total Experience: 10 to 12 years

　　Experience in:

　　· Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role for Boiler-WHRS, AFBC, CFBC, Turbines, ACC, other BOPs of power plant.

　　· Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies

　　· In-depth understanding of technical documentation

　　· Familiarity with statistical analysis

　　Familiarity with IBR/ASME/IS Codes. Must good knowledge of ASME Code for Materials like Steels (Carbon steel, Alloy steel, Stainless steel) & many other materials.· Experience in conducting quality audits and inspections and developing quality plans and procedures.

　　· Strong background in engineering or quality assurance, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive mindset

　　· Good communication skills
