We are seeking an experienced Quality Director to oversee Quality Management and performance for factory products manufactured in Israel and China. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations for quality and reliability, while also ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient and cost-effective. The Quality Director will work closely with senior leaders across the organization to drive continuous improvement in all areas of Quality Management.
Key Responsibilities:
• The Quality Director will have full responsibility for Quality Management and the performance of our Products that are manufactured in Orpak
manufacturing sites.
• The Quality Director will manage the local Quality organization located in the North and in China.
Engineering BSc (Industrial/Production/Mechanical/Materials or Electronics Engineer) as a minimum, MSc is an advantage.
Certified Quality/Reliability Engineer (CQE/CRE) as a minimum, Certified Quality Manager (CQM) is an advantage.
6 Sigma green belt certification and black belt certification is an advantage.
At least 10 years’ experience in Quality Management of multidisciplinary electronics mass production own manufacturing or at Contract Manufacturers with a minimum of 5 years experience in Quality management of first-class international-level EMS.
Good management skills and experience to lead successful Quality organization for excellent performance to achieve our goals.
Proven experience to meet KPIs by implementing quality improvements on the production lines to meet the high-Reliability requirements standards.
Proven leadership and experience managing a big local team
Proven experience in different production methodologies, technologies, and processes for High-end Electronics, Electro-Mechanics, and Mechanical Products.
Good Personal skills in data analysis, root cause investigation, planning, and vision.
Good team player, capable to support local operation needs and distance management from HQs.
Educated Management skills for leadership and guidance.
Good computing skills, and familiarity with ERP, PDM, MES, ATE systems, office, and statistics programs.
Good verbal, reading, and writing in English and Hebrew.
