Job Description

　　General understanding of the fundamentals of Civil Engineering

　　 Ability to work well with other engineers, designers and staff in the preparation of subdivision, major utility and site development plans.

　　 Familiarity with storm hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, FlowMaster and StormCAD is preferred but not required.

　　 Knowledgeable in hydraulics for water and wastewater design

　　 Potential once a month travel to West Texas - Midland, TX area on project sites.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited school

　　 EIT certification working towards their PE license

　　 5 years of experience with water/wastewater treatment and infrastructure design and/or project experience.

　　 Experience working on Land and Site Development projects.

　　 Experience doing this type of work in Texas Austin/Central Texas preferably

　　 Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

　　 Valid driver's license

　　 Ability to drive a full size pick-up truck

　　 Ability to walk and stand at construction site for extended periods of time (4 hrs+)

　　 Ability to lift 50 pounds AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred but not required.

　　 A doer, that can work on multiple projects at one time.

　　 Someone who is determined and building towards getting their PE license or already in the process.

　　 Prefer candidates living in Central Texas with experience in these disciplines in the Central Texas area.

　　 Comfortable with working on multiple projects are one time and wearing many hats working at a small firm.
