About Program Manager, External Fulfillment

  Description

Join our diverse and dynamic team as we make history! As a Program Manager within External Fulfillment (EF), you will have the opportunity to lead the origin and rapid expansion of our EF Program. This program’s mission is to offer flexible fulfillment solutions for Amazon’ sellers and vendors outside of our Fulfillment Center (FC) network leveraging world wide tool-set built for quick deployment.

You will own the integration delivery of 3PL operations and other cross-functional projects within Amazon EF services. In taking this role, you will be supporting the analysis of new opportunities, creating project plans, designing and re-inventing processes, driving execution across teams (Supply Chain, Transportation, Technology Retail etc.), and communicating on status, key metrics, risks and process/product changes. You’ll have a high sense of ownership, accountability and be ready to deep dive into the processes, numbers and tech. The role may require you to be flexible with hours to accommodate vendor schedules and regional meetings, and to travel locally and nationally to sites for launch, set up and monitor operations.

In the broader team, you will have a holistic view of supply chain within the Amazon fulfillment network and be an integral part in creating and implementing large-scale strategic initiatives in network optimisation, delivery speed, transportation cost, labour capacity management and more. There will rarely be a perfect solution, so it will be up to you to make data driven decisions and manage stakeholder relationships while planning and executing within an ever-changing environment. Every decision we make has a direct impact on our customer’s experience!

This role can be performed from either Sydney or Melbourne.

  Key job responsibilities:

Lead the launch of EF sites in partnership with third party vendors from 0 to 100 across multiple stakeholder teams.

Manage the daily and tactical relationship with 3PL providers, including all launch events such as support to conduct training, manage their performance and drive improvements.

Monitor and analyse customer experience and speed delivery performance.

Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks.

Dive deep into data to identify opportunities to improve cost, speed, and network design within EF and wider Amazon Fulfillment supply chain.

Improve communication flows across involved teams and leadership.

Partner with the global teams on system feature/logic improvements, and with local team on process improvements.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Melbourne, VIC, AUS | Sydney, NSW, AUS

  Basic Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University,

Initiate and support the implementation of process-improvements, both the business processes and the technical solutions.

  Preferred Qualifications

Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience,

Experience in driving process improvements experience,

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
