There is an opening for a Product Specialist at Ellwood National Forge based in Irvine however from time to time maybe based in the Warren or Corry Plants. This position is an exempt, full time opportunity and reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Direct product sales responsibility (current, former, new customers) - Strategic Markets/ Accounts as assignedCreate sales forecastsIdentify new business opportunities for existing products and new market opportunitiesLead sales callsFinal approval of sales proposalsCreate, develop and deliver sales proposals/presentationsClose qualified sales opportunitiesDocument sales callsPerform marketing activities as assignedRun, conduct inquiry, order review, and IPT MeetingsOrganize quality audits and customer visitsResponsible for completion of customer survey's and information requestsEnter sales order(s)Interact with customers and vendors as needed to finalize the orderManage new orders and projectsManage inquiry logs (inquiry numbers, won/lost data)Traveling internationally or domestically as needed to support aforementioned dutiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Four-Year B.S. Degree Business, Engineering, Metallurgy or equivalent relevant experience5 Years or less sales experienceExcellent problem solving and listening skills.Must be proactive and results oriented with a strong desire to succeed.Strong verbal and written communications skills.Strong personal computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Travel as necessaryPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prior Sales Engineering or Industrial Sales/Marketing experience in custom finish machined and/or custom engineered industrial products.CAD or drafting experienceEqual Opportunity Employer-minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities sexual orientation/ gender identity.
