Job responsibilities
Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
Develop and maintain a product roadmap for biometric authentication, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy
Owns the biometrics performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives; Communicate updates and progress on biometric authentication projects to stakeholders and senior management
Work with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into interface requirements
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in biometric technology and incorporate them into product development; Identify and manage relationships with third parties and partners
Stay informed of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to biometric authentication; Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve and enhance biometric solutions
Research and analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for biometric authentication solutions; Identify and manage risks associated with biometric solution development and deployment
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management including delivering biometrics-related products, projects, or applications
Strong knowledge of biometric modalities, biometrics-based user authentication, security and privacy of biometric data and challenges of the biometrics technology
Strong knowledge of NIST biometrics testing and standards especially for face
Demonstrated experience in bringing products to market successfully
Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead and influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external coordination and stakeholder engagement
Experience implementing and testing FIDO Passkeys-based solutions
Knowledge of payment systems including payment terminals, authentication and authorization etc.
Knowledge of identity proofing and eKYC verification use-cases
