The Product Manager facilitates the management and implementation of the AmeriHealth medical product portfolio throughout the product life cycle. This includes, but is not limited to, gathering, executing, and prioritizing product, regulatory and market requirements, as well as working with various internal resources to successfully deliver product market-readiness that leads to the organizations profitability, market growth, and customer satisfaction while achieving full compliance.
Works in close collaboration with internal teams such as Product Development, Actuarial, Sales, etc. to help develop the annual portfolio.
Manages the product life cycle.
Executes on implementation tasks such as completion of product grids and review of collateral and other input and output data to ensure successful product implementation.
Cross-functionally partners with internal areas to help ensure product configurator and claim system readiness and accuracy.
Develops plan & benefit elements needed for product filings.
Ensures product regulatory compliance.
Assists Sales in creation of customized plans.
Manages ad hoc and corporate projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Marketing, related field, or equivalent work experience in Product Management and/or Underwriting, Actuarial experience
Minimum 5 years insurance industry experience in areas such as Benefits, Administration, Health Care Management, or related field
Ability to interact with various levels of management
Effective communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical qualities
Meticulous with detail
Ability to work effectively both on individual basis as well as collaboratively within a team
Strong project management skills
Strong Excel and MS Office skills
