  Job Overview

  TE Connectivity’s Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operation Teams, Development Engineers or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE.

  Responsibilities:

  Support and continuous improvement of smart electronics products throughout the entire product life cycle

  Hardware/development and modifications for Smart Electronics

  Layout development in CAD "Altium Designer"

  Collaboration in software development for microcontrollers

  Planning and coordination of validation tests in cooperation with the laboratory

  Coordination and support of changes

  Management of the database and technical documentation

  Supporting the quality department in the creation of PPAP documentation, complaints and the processing of 8D reports

  Communication and interaction with various internal departments (production, quality, purchasing) as well as with customers and suppliers

  Carrying out performance/risk assessments in the event of production deviations and the associated corrective measures, application of problem-solving methods

  What your background should look like:

  Degree in engineering sciences in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable degree such as a certified technician in the field of electrical engineering. Electrical engineering

  CAD circuit board layout preferably Altium Designer

  Very good written and spoken English and German communication skills

  Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in engineering

  Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio

  Communicative, responsible and team-oriented

  Commitment, ability to work in a team and flexibility

  Independent and goal-oriented way of working

  Confident and representative appearance with customers, suppliers and internal contacts
