Job Description

　　Job Summary:

　　The main function of a manufacturing process engineer is to direct the development and/or improvements of manufacturing processes and equipment.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Propose and evaluate manufacturing process and equipment for assigned areas.

　　Meet plant goals and standards in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

　　Coordinate the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives.

　　Evaluate expenditures for processes and/or equipment.

　　Provide technical assistance and training for assigned plant operations.

　　Works closely with production and maintenance personnel and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects.

　　Analyze tooling and equipment and select proper steps for solution.

　　Communicate with internal and external business units.

　　Support plants in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals.

　　Support and implement the QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　2+ years of experience with manufacturing and assembly processes within automotive

　　Experience with manufacturing process improvement

　　Basic knowledge of automotive industry processes

　　Familiar w/ launch or have directly supported launch

　　Basic knowledge of tooling processes

　　Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously/project management experience * Previous automotive OEM experience

　　Previous battery experience null
