JOB DESCRIPTION
Powertrain & Electrified Controls Software Application Integration Engineer
The key responsibility of the Integration Engineer is to identify interface issues between software components, assisting the feature engineers to resolve the issues, and combining the software components into a complete application. Additionally, in this role, you will be responsible for creating Rapid Prototype software used for validation of future diesel software requirements. This role will span integration responsibilities on both gas and diesel applications.

Integrate PT ECU module software applications for production and rapid prototype (ATI No-Hooks) use cases.Identify and help resolve interface issues between feature software components. Validate the build using HIL and vehicle platforms; Deliver validated software using Ford SW release processes. Experience with troubleshooting compiler and linking issuesAlign with Global Diesel Software tools and processes, enforcing common global practice in North AmericaDetailed knowledge of how to resolve compilation and linking issues with Hightec compiler
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degreeExperience with C+ language, Version control and Linux shell command line, and Matlab modeling,Able to work in a global teamSelf-starter, self-motivatedProficiency in English (Level C)
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of integration experience.Experience troubleshooting C compiler and linking issuesAccurev, Clearcase, Git version control experiencePreferred working level knowledge of Matlab and Simulink and testing techniquesPreferred working knowledge of Linux shell commandPreferred working knowledge of Python, PerlPreferred working knowledge of basic combustion engine operating principlesFamiliarity with software configuration management toolsWorking knowledge of basic combustion engine operating principlesWorking knowledge of product development system & software engineering principlesFamiliarity with software planning and software delivery management experience (i.e., Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.) Familiarity with powertrain controls calibration development tools such as ETAS INCA and/or ATI Vision
