Responsible for the end to end payroll processing inn GSSC. Contribute to and drive the development and implementation of policies, programs and practices relevant to GSSC payroll, to support organizational needs.
* Executes operational objectives for the supervisory HR function particular to end to end payroll processing and other related sub-processes.
* Support the implementation of the supervisory HR function strategy and operational initiatives
* Design and executes strategy on vendor partnership and management.
Administer policies, processes and procedures relevant to HR Delivery - GSSC
Contribute to the development, streamlining and implementation of policies, processes and procedures, to meet business needs
* Provide interpretation and advice to the business regarding policies, process and procedures
Contribute to the "center of excellence" model for the HR function
Contribute to improving overall employee experience.
* Work in partnership with the business and broader HR team to build, recommend and deliver specialist HR function solutions in line with business needs
Improvement in the end to end payroll process via automation and/or simplification.
Research and analyze issues based on market information; and contribute to the development of recommendations to resolve business issues
* Build advanced knowledge of current legislation, market trends, future direction and best practice relevant to the HR function
* Provision of payroll calendar of activities for the year
Oversee and develop the HR Delivery staff directly reporting to the supervisor role
Mentor and coach team members on HR Delivery management principles and methods
* Manage the prioritization of individual and team workloads
* Identify and provide appropriate training requirements within the team to maintain an equitable level of skill
* Directs the group in setting objectives, which manage resources effectively,
* Respond to issues referred from team members and assist with their resolution where appropriate
* Assess individual performance and identify developmental needs through coaching & development
* Annual performance appraisal, including the provision of timely and accurate feedback for staff.Required Education * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experienceRequired Experience * 10+ years relevant experienceRequired Licenses/Certifications * Certified Payroll ProfessionalPreferred Competencies/Skills * Relationship management and influencing skills
