We’re looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our team.
The expectations of this role will be to utilize experience and independent judgement to process the company’s biweekly payrolls accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Will work both independently as well as with other team members to ensure the end-to-end completion of payroll deliverables and projects, which will contribute to the attainment of the general goals of the Payroll Department, the Human Resources team, and the organization. This role will primarily support the entire payroll operations and may work cross-functionally within the Finance, Benefits, and Human Resources teams. The Payroll Anaylst will report to the Payroll Manager.

What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Audits and maintains timekeeping records for compliance with established company and regulatory standards, and performs all duties associated with the approval and uploads into the payroll system for accurate and timely payment every pay period.
Supports the integration between the payroll (Workday) and Timekeeping (Oracle) and assists in building internal payroll processes for scale, including streamlining timekeeping process.
With the use of reports, conducts a series of audits to ensure the control and accuracy of payments issued to hourly and salaried associates (active, on leave, and terminated.)
Prepares all biweekly and off-cycle payrolls according to the checklists and schedules established.
Ensures payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state and IRS regulations.
Utilizes proactive methods to maintain, organize, or make recommendations with the intention to streamline, enhance, or standardize processes.
Actively oversees the Payroll Team Inbox; responds to inquiries and resolves concerns in accordance with the service levels established.
Maintains accurate and complete employee records in electronic form, as applicable, and ensures all recordkeeping requirements are met.
Reviews and approves applicable changes in the Payroll system.
Receives and loads garnishment orders into third-party vendor system.
Applies the administration of all human resources policies, plans and procedures for all regions.
Attends training and seminars (via online or in person) as appropriate to maintain and enhance job knowledge and skills.
Fosters positive employee relations and works independently as well as with peers to solve employee issues that surface.
Cross trains with other members of the team for adequate backup and support.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
Highly detailed and accurate, with excellent organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; expresses thoughts and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing; establishes trust and confidence quickly.
Familiarity of rules and regulations associated with Wage & Hour Laws.
Knowledge of federal, state and local tax requirements.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.
