About Partnership manager, EU Creators

  Description

  We are looking for a Partnership manager to join our EU Creators team, supporting the growth of our affiliate programs (Amazon Associates, Amazon Influencer Program) through impactful business development and marketing campaigns across Europe.

  Creators are content producers who have the ability to influence consumers purchase decisions throughout their shopping journey, from inspiration to research, to price comparison or bargain hunting. Creators is a broad and diverse universe of partners: media companies, comparison shopping engines, deal sites, rebators, social media influencers, bloggers, and other non-traditional partners.

  The candidate will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with agencies and platforms within the Creator and affiliate marketing landscape. The primary objective is to drive scaled recruitment and engagement of Creators in our program by amplifying its visibility and awareness in the Creator industry through collaborative efforts with third-party partners. This role involves increasing our presence at key industry events, enhancing our visibility on social media, featuring in relevant magazines and media platforms, and engaging with Creators in their preferred spaces. The aim is to establish our Programs as a pivotal point of reference within the Creator economy across Europe.

  The ideal candidate is a business development manager with product marketing manager and community management skills, who is customer obsessed, data-driven, highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.

  This candidate is comfortable working independently, excellent at communicating with stakeholders regularly, and collaborates well with cross-functional partners across Creators teams, PR, tech, etc. This role requires working at the strategic level to identify growth opportunities for Europe, and consistently delivering at the tactical level by executing and optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic and partner engagement data, and delivering program growth.

  Key job responsibilities

  Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with agencies and platforms in the Creator and affiliate marketing landscape.

  Drive scaled recruitment and engagement of Creators in our program, increasing its visibility and awareness in the Creator industry through third-party partnerships.

  Utilize an analytical approach to prioritize opportunities, assess business impact, and regularly report progress and outcomes to senior stakeholders.

  Develop and implement strategies for nurturing the Creator community, enhancing engagement and fostering a sense of belonging.

  Increase our footprint at key industry events, on social media, and in relevant magazines and media platforms.

  Identify and execute additional initiatives to strengthen the community and enhance the program's appeal in the European Creator economy.

  Lead projects aimed at advancing best practice sharing, process refinement, and generating innovative ideas for marketing strategies.

  Collaborate closely with Amazon internal teams to provide support for strategic Amazon businesses.

  Basic Qualifications

  Professional Experience: 4-5 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related field, preferably within the affiliate marketing or digital media industry.

  Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Creator and affiliate marketing landscape.

  Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market trends, identify partnership opportunities, and report on business impact.

  Cross-functional Coordination: Proven ability to coordinate projects across various teams, including but not limited to product management, marketing, creative, legal, and merchandising.

  Analytical Tools: Proficiency with data and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, and/or Tableau.

  Experimentation and Testing: Experience in developing, executing, and analyzing marketing experiments and A/B tests.

  Preferred Qualifications

  Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  Affiliate Marketing: Direct experience in the affiliate marketing business is highly desirable.

  Strategic Planning and Execution: Proven experience in developing and executing partnership and community engagement strategies.

  Event and Social Media Savvy: Experience in enhancing brand presence at industry events and on various media platforms.

  CRM Expertise: Proficiency in using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms, with a strong ability to leverage these tools for marketing effectiveness and business development insights.

  Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  Strategic and Tactical Balance: Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

  Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  Independence: Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
