The key functions of this role are a combination of the following: receiving, putting away, picking, packing, stocking, documenting, and shipping customized orders, accurately. We have fast-paced operations so your days will fly by. Due to the criticality of your work, you need to have a strong attention to detail to ensure you accurately follow written specifications, perform data entry (as required) and follow customized requirements. Don't worry training will be provided to you during the first 2 weeks of employment.What you'll need:Ideally, you will have had previous warehouse experience gained in a fast-paced environment with an absolute focus on delivering excellent service to the customers every day.In addition, you will need:Ability to be self-motivated to learn quickly and work independently, as trained; and to gain a good, practical working-knowledge of the department policies, procedures, and work instructions essential to the duties of the job; respond with urgency to "rush" orders and in a timely manner, as requested; and be proactive in the approach to your workload and business needsExcellent communication, be a true team player and take pride in your work everydayAttention to detail to ensure that you can follow our detailed procedures to the highest standard.1-2 years forklift experience loading and unloading trucks and the ability to utilize pallet jacks, drum dolly's, drive forklifts, and/or order picker, when trained/certifiedExperience in Hazmat, DOT, OSHA, IATA, and IMDG preferred.1-2 years' experience in shipping and receiving1-2 years' experience in Putting away/Binning,1-2 years' experience in picking, packing, and documenting customer orders accurately.Perform timely cycle counts and inventory audits to support an accurate inventory management systemFollow safety regulations in all work processes promoting a safe and hazard free work environmentAbility to perform basic math functions and proficient use of a calculatorAbility to solve basic problems following established policies and procedures; more difficult problems or challenges should be escalated to a senior member of the team or supervisor for additional directionAbility to apply common sense understanding and work instructions to find the best and reasonable solutions to work through
