THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Outreach Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Pennie’s outreach strategy and providing guidance and coordination for events, conferences, and forums. Through planning and creating education tools, this position will oversee efforts to reach Pennsylvania residents to increase awareness regarding enrolling in affordable health insurance through Pennie. The Outreach Manager will lead a team, manage vendor performance, triage and resolve issues, provide strategic direction, ensure comprehensive reporting on effectiveness of outreach activities, and will maintain and develop new networks and contacts.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may be expected to work from home (telework) full-time. You must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Periodic travel in-state and out-of-state may be required.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
6 years of professional experience in community engagement, outreach, education, sales, and/or marketing, including 2 years of vendor management and contract management experience;AND
A bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, public health, public administration, communications, public relations, marketing or equivalent education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
Pennsylvania residency is required.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Strong public speaking, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience with Affordable Care Act (ACA) state-based exchanges and/or Medicaid programs.
Fluency in Spanish.
