Theprogram consists of several rotations in one facility, including leantransformation, supply chain and operations leadership. Special trainingin EHS, lean six-sigma, leading high performance teams, labor law andcoaching for high performance. The OMTP will work cross-functionally todevelop deep level understanding of business operations and to impactParker\'s Win Strategy objectives of Profitable Growth, FinancialPerformance, Customer Service and Empowered Employees while continuouslymaintaining the highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality,and cost. Demonstrate ability to understand and improve processes andprocedures, to develop and display leadership skills and to build broadbusiness acumen. Learning and developing lean concepts by studying andplanning operations for the effective utilization of personnel,material, machines and facilities. Assist and/or lead Lean activitiesand Kaizen events by establishing course of action to accomplishtask/project and working cross-functionally to achieve. Assist in thedesign and improvement of manufacturing/production methods and controlsystems using new, existing, or modified machinery and equipment.Introduce or recommend changes to work methods, safety measures, andlabor organization.
