The Operations Superintendent position and will report to the Operations Director. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Superintendent will be responsible for leading a team of Supervisors to achieve optimal performance while ensuring personal development of a highly engaged team.Leading direct reports in the Operations group to drive results within area specific key performance indicators (KPI's) as well as lead in a manner that supports companies core values of Ethics, Integrity and Stewardship.Identify areas of continuous improvement within the organization and will be required to lead cross functional teams in an effort to support and drive company initiativesLead or participate in cross functional groups to support company initiatives.Lead Team to meet customer demands and requirements.Assist in development of Standard Operating Procedures for HACCP, SQF, and other requirements including our Quality Control ProgramsIdentify the critical technical requirements to supervise the area and ensure the requirements are documentedDevelop and maintain processes for monitoring performance consistently with KPIs and our Key ExpectationsCoordinate resources to ensure Supervisor is coached in all technical aspects of the processReview departmental action plans with Supervisor to improve performanceProvide support for direct reports to conduct effective team meetings promote achievement of goals and objectivesDevelop the team through the CFG Performance Excellence process (i.e., strategic plans, initiatives, team scorecard and individual Coaching Tools are in place for all areas.Coach and develop supervisors through internal development tools Facilitate training and coach to processes for consistent application Other duties as assignedQualifications

Experience8 years: to 10 years relative supervisory experience in a protein manufacturing environment . Leadership experience including continuous improvement activities. Must be able to work fluctuating hours as needed to facilitate production demands including Saturday's as needed. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where change and growth are part of the culture. Applicable MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills needed. (required)
