Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, one of the nation’s oldest and most frequented historical public attractions, is looking for a full-time Office Administrator to join us. At Magnolia, our success depends on people, productivity and procedures. We strive to offer our guests an incredible experience full of cultural enrichment that is surrounded by phenomenal horticulture and untouched native wildlife. The Office Administrator is a supportive force that assists the Leadership Team and we’re currently seeking someone stellar to take the reins. The ideal candidate for the role is a flexible problem-solver who has superb communication skills with a task and detail-oriented mindset. Effective multitasking and a unique ability to handle the unexpected are essential traits for this candidate.
What you will be doing:
Manage a variety of clerical and administrative support tasks to ensure the highest caliber of service is being offered to coworkers, guests and volunteers
Greet office visitors and guests
Track and replace office supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions
Promptly respond to guest inquiry emails, answer and direct phone calls
Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to various departments
Update databases and records for financial information, personnel, etc.
Create internal processes and procedures and support internal audits
Submit reports and prepare proposals and presentations as needed
Assists the Leadership Team with creating digital records
Represents a team-player spirit when assigned other duties as required

You’re a chameleon that is willing to support multiple departments such as the Welcome Center and Cafe during high peak
You’re a friendly, hard-working professional that is versatile in any administrative processes
You’re a pro at demonstrating the ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
You are dedicated to strict confidentiality of work related information
You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Due to the nature of the business, this position may require work on the weekends as needed
