Job Description

　　A client of Insight Global is looking for a Nuclear Engineering Manager to join their Nuclear Services Department in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will be planning, scheduling, and supervising SNSC engineering projects. This position will also be responsible for reviewing and approving mechanical designs as well collaborating with project managers, QA, operations, procurement, and the General Manager on various projects. They will be responsible for the supervision and guidance of 8-10 direct reports. This group specifically designs pumps and spare parts for nuclear facilities. This position will not be designing projects from scratch themselves, Moreso, overseeing design processes and overseeing team members, as well as QA/QC and stamping projects for design approvals.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　PE (Any State)

　　   10-15 YOE in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) - Material science engineering degree would be good

　　   Management Experience- doesn't need management role Nuclear Experience is Preferred

　　   Inventor Software experience - 3d Modeling software

　　   Design Experience

　　   ASME Section 3 Code - Design of Nuclear Power Plants

　　   § Section 9 would be good as well null
