  About the Role

  Advance your career as a National Account Executive (Executive, Account) responsible for managing strategic National Account partners. This is a high visibility opportunity in the consumer electronics industry, specifically within digital imaging solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in account management and National Account sales. Prior experience with digital imaging product sales would be an advantage for this position.

  As a National Account Executive, your main mission will be to increase Canon’s market-share, profit and sell Canon's full suite of imaging products within your assigned accounts. You will manage the complete relationship with existing accounts including but not limited to buyers, planners, marketing and logistics. This position requires overnight travel nationally within the United States. Self-motivation, persistence, thoroughness and acting with sense of urgency are keys to a successful Account Executive. You will develop strategies to penetrate assigned accounts with your management and internal resources to promote account growth and the diversity of Canon products sold. We will rely on your strong time management, negotiation and B2B selling skills to provide consistent accessibility, service and maximum visibility to our customers. Solid business communications and account planning skills are paramount for success. Your ability to pro-actively interface and engage with internal and external teams to implement the strategic plans, will allow you to hit the ground running. Use your presentation and account management skills to develop marketing programs, and create the strategic sales plans.   This position is full time and is considered virtual. The office will be open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need.  Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

  Your Impact

  Grow Canon market share within the assigned accounts

  Develop an ROI mindset that utilizes analytics and industry knowledge to develop optimal solutions for selling

  Develop strategies to promote account growth and increased sell through

  Responsible for fostering and promoting long-term growth

  Research, investigate and report on competitive product and technology trends

  Provide product and market feedback to Canon management on industry trends, account activity, customer changes, business opportunities, product demands and other events that will allow Canon to meet customer needs and overcome competitive challenges

  Effectively manage assigned budgets to drive revenue, profit and market share

  About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3-5 years of related experience within National Accounts

  Sales experience into national big box retailers is required

  Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

  Ability to work independently and take initiative

  Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  Ability to challenge customer motivation and thinking

  Understanding of key business drivers in market

  Ability to develop sales strategies and assess new opportunities

  Strong presentation skills

  Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)

  Knowledge Microsoft Teams

  Requires up to 50% overnight travel throughout sales territory

  Individual must possess a clean valid state driver's license in order to obtain the position

  This position requires driving, therefore a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies

  The company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship for this position.

  In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $69,300 - $103,770. This role is eligible for commissions under the terms of an applicable plan.
