Job Description Summary

Are you ready to see your career take flight? At GE Aerospace, we believe the world works better when it flies. We are a world-leading provider of jet engines, components, and integrated systems for commercial and military aircraft. We have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen.

The Lynn Turbofan Turbojet Systems Design (TFTJ) organization is responsible for the design, analysis, integration, and support of both legacy and future military engine products. This position specifically focuses on supporting the inlets and exhausts for the F414 and F404 product lines.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and ownership of parts and/or assemblies within the afterburner module. You will employ a variety of skillsets, including analysis, design, and product definition, while collaborating with manufacturing to support legacy engine deliveries. This includes implementing design changes, addressing non-conformances, and managing changes in special processes.

This position reports to an engineering manager in Lynn, MA, and offers the opportunity to integrate with various internal and external engineering disciplines.

Come and elevate your career in a facility that combines a rich tradition of aviation technology with a deep commitment to the future of flight. The GE Aerospace manufacturing site in Lynn designs, produces, assembles, and tests military and commercial aircraft engines and components. With 1.6 million sqft of manufacturing space, we’re making a huge contribution to the future of flight. And, considering that very first jet engines were born here in 1942, we clearly are the career home of people who are deeply knowledgeable about building quality engines. What’s more, GE Aerospace has invested more than $100 million in our facility in the last five years alone.
