About the Unit/Department/Team Our goal in Nutrition Services Senior Campus is to provide excellent food services by following consistent procedures and maintaining food safety standards. Our goal is to ensure the residents have a quality, compassionate dining experience, just like we would want for our own families. No food leaves our kitchen we ourselves would not eat. Mission for Position To provide an exceptional, high-quality and compassionate dining experience for our residents. Duties & Responsibilities OR Position Summary Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc. Discard leftovers and take out garbage Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware Stock ingredients and monitor inventory Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances Washing dishes Putting dishes away Position Type Nutrition Services Assistant Cook - Full-Time 11:30am-8pm 64 hours Bi-Weekly, Every other weekend is required, and some holidays Qualifications Qualifications Cooking Experience preferred but not necessary Ideal Candidate Team Player Reliable Motivated Demonstrates attention to detail Next Steps Interested, but will the schedule work for you?
