　　PRINCIPAL DUTIES1. Assist in performing adjustments and repairs to brakes, transmissions, ignition and lighting systems, cooling and heating systems, and other rolling stock.2. Assist in inspections, replacing of parts and making adjustments to keep equipment in good working order.3. Assist in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in rolling stock in order to identify and perform necessary repairs.4. Assist in performing body and fender repair and painting.5. Completes documentation for all work performed in a timely manner.6. Maintains good housekeeping in the shop to promote efficiency in completing repair and maintenance services.7. Adheres to hazards and safety precautions of the mechanical trade; wears personal protective equipment as required.8. Performs other duties as assigned.9. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.10. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.

　　PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS1. High school diploma, preferably with courses in automotive mechanics.2. Experience repairing/servicing heavy equipment, including gas/diesel engines preferred.3. Basic knowledge of computers helpful.4. Basic math to perform daily tasks.5. Good verbal and written communication skills.6. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly7. Able to travel to neighbor islands as needed.8. Valid Hawaii driver's license, Favorable Driver History Record and ability to pass pre-employment DOT Physical to meet driving requirements.
