  What you will do

  The Material handler is responsible for supporting the production processes by providing product or materials from supplier to customer processes on a routine schedule. Responsible for occasional direct production line work to support business as needed. Responsible for knowing, following, and not deviating from the appropriate procedures assigned to their product line and/or work cell. Must have ability to show proficiency in their assigned area by having approved competencies. Must also have the ability to work in a team environment and have attention to detail. Must display versatility on a regular basis and must work independently with little supervision.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  Completes repetitive tasks and follows procedures along with written and verbal instructions

  Displays versatility on a regular basis within department

  Meets goals as defined within Stryker key success factors of Quality First, Customer Experience, Innovation, People Development, and Financial Results

  Responsible for participating in continuous improvement, 5S, daily/weekly cleanings and regularly providing suggestions for improvement

  Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team-based, product-focused organization, contributing to continuous improvement, participating in safety programs, strives for cost reduction ,committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products and continuously searching for ways to enhance personal and team performance

  Responsible for personal training, understanding and accurately following procedures, policies and good manufacturing practices

  Responsible for successfully completing and maintaining competencies for all stations required to work

  Invests in employee involvement and development by being responsible and accountable, being passionate towards the success of the business, treating all with dignity and respect and by fostering personal growth.

  Provides feedback on process or procedure improvements

  Works independently with little supervision

  Punctuality and Attendance: Follow attendance policy as outlined in our company handbook

  What you need

  High School or GED Preferred

  Manufacturing Experience Preferred
