Position Overview
ViiV Healthcare is a stand-alone specialist pharmaceutical company focused exclusively on HIV. ViiV develops and commercializes medicines to treat HIV and works solely with HIV stakeholders - healthcare providers, patients, pharmacy, payer and policy makers.
The Marketing Manager, LAI Patient Experience is responsible for leading development and execution of key patient marketing activities and digital solutions to enhance the patient experience for ViiV's long-acting injectables - CABENUVA and APRETUDE. The role will report to a Marketing Director and be an entrenched member of the broader direct to patient marketing team.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following: Lead key direct-to-patient focused marketing activities and solutions for ViiV's two long-acting injectable brands in the U.S. Understand complex trends and behaviors in the specialty landscape, identifying opportunities and troubleshooting challenges for our patients in accessing and adhering to treatment Assist in the evolution of the customer journey and content strategy to reach patients in moments that matter Foster collaborative relationships across brand teams, HUB/patient services, reimbursement, payer marketing, and ViiV tech teams, serving as the lead representative for the LAI patient experience Manage projects through legal review as well as the Copy Approval system and process Active management of agency partners, especially our Agency of Record; evaluate and set project budgets, work with agency/finance to ensure progress according to budget Consistently establish detailed timelines and manage projects and agencies to those timelines Identify/build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders that are grounded in trust/mutual respect Foster open communication among project team members, network and build alliances in a spirit of collaboration Build consensus by involving others in decisions that impact them; handle controversial issues responsibly Why you?
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related discipline3+ years of US-based pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing and/or related commercial rolesExperience working in specialty medications, particularly injectablesExperience working in access, acquisition, payer, hub, and/or patient experience marketing roles in the pharmaceutical industryExperience working with and managing external agenciesExperience in creating product messaging and developing tacticsExperience in effectively navigating Copy Approval (legal, regulatory, medical review) for tacticsExperience leading complex commercial projects Preferred Qualifications
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Graduate Degree level (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience Prior HIV market experience and/or specialty market experienceDemonstrated experience with specialty medication patient solutionsDemonstrated experience with specialty medication patient journeys and personasDemonstrated ability to effectively work in a matrix team environment (i.e. Copy Approval Team, brand marketing, sales, training, medical, insights and analytics, etc.)Experience in gaining alignment with and influencing without direct authorityProven ability to navigate internal processes, manage multiple priorities, and keep projects on track to meet deadlines Strong project management and demonstrated analytical skills Able to work independently, with minimal direction High level of motivation and a strong ability to find creative solutions to unstructured situations Knowledge and practical application of compliance acumen in the pharmaceutical space Excellent communication (written & verbal), interpersonal influencing skills and prioritization skills #LI-GSK
